Students from our Bullying Prevention group at Mentor High School traveled to all of our elementary schools to deliver their Stick Together presentation to more than 550 5th graders districtwide. The student-led initiative is designed to encourage everyone to be kind and compassionate toward one another in an effort to promote the importance of positive behavior in school, while also trying to help prevent mean behaviors. Of course, students hear this message from adults all the time, but we know it can be extra powerful to hear it from peers students may naturally admire. The high school presenters are part of the CARDS Club, which stands for: Caring and Respect Determine Success. The club worked closely with Project Love to develop Mentor’s Stick Together program.
