Staff members from Mentor Schools will host four "Tech Tips and Tricks for Families" Zoom sessions during the month of February.
These short, informative sessions are intended for parents and caregivers who want to help their children with school work at home.
Each session will be held from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. A recorded version will also be available on our website.

Tuesday, February 2. For parents of 3-5 graders
Chromebook and Basic Google Apps
In this session we will go over Chromebook basics. We will also explore the basics of Google Apps that apply to the student’s learning.
Thursday, February 4. For parents of 6-8 graders
Where is that assignment? Navigating Middle School Programs.
Are you having some trouble navigating assignments, grades, or missing work? Attend this session to learn a few tips and tricks about the Homework Hotline, Schoology, and Infinite Campus in the middle schools.
Thursday, February 11. For parents of K-2 graders
This session will provide K-2 families the basics necessary to navigate the Seesaw program with ease. Families will leave this session confident in helping their child access their assignments, navigate their child’s completed activity journal and contact their teacher through the messaging system.
Tuesday, February 16. For parents of K-2 and 6-8 graders
Basic iPad Troubleshooting
In this session, we will go over basic iPad troubleshooting tips that you can use at home to help solve iPad issues when they arise. Join us to learn simple tips and get your student’s iPad back up and running!
